FHNG
The Fundacion Hogar Nueva Granada (FHNG) was founded in 2001 by the CNG community as a part of our comprehensive and enduring commitment to service and community outreach programs to address the need for quality education and reduced inequalities in our surrounding neighborhoods.
What began as a daycare center has since expanded into a school that currently serves 370+ children from preschool through high school. This purpose-built school is located on CNG’s 24-acre campus and provides a holistic education with emphasis on English-language acquisition. Wraparound services include:
-
Center for the diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities
-
Nutritional support
-
Co-curricular activities
-
Parent education workshops
The FHNG has provided an opportunity for CNG students to actively engage with the school’s neighboring community, contributing to character development and fostering responsible global citizenship.
As our core social-outreach initiative, the FHNG welcomes the participation of parent and faulty/staff volunteers in its classrooms, co-curricular activities, library, and fundraising committee.
The commitment of all CNG stakeholders towards the FHNG, over the past two decades, has contributed to the transformation of many lives in both communities. We invite you to learn more about the FHNG today!
