The Exceptional Learner Programs offer specially designed interventions and support services as well as tailored curriculum plans designed to meet the needs of students at both ends of the learning continuum.

This broad umbrella of education provisions for exceptional learners places CNG as the premier school for special education and talent development in Latin America.

Our educational team in the Learning Center and the Gifted & Talented Program are comprised of trained professionals who believe that all students can grow when provided with high quality, differentiated instruction, and are fully invested in helping all students reach their maximum potential.

THE LEARNING CENTER

The Learning Center was founded in 1975 and has grown and expanded to continue to offer a variety of systematic, structured, and evidence-based interventions along with a caring and safe learning environment for students with learning differences.

We have a wide spectrum of programs that can include:

• Remedial support in core academic foundational skills.
• In-class support through co-teaching and systematic collaboration with all school teachers.
• Occupational therapy.
• Speech and language therapy.
• Alternative curriculums through the resource room and extensive resource room programs.

THE GIFTED & TALENTED PROGRAM

The purpose of CNG’s Gifted & Talented Program is to recognize, identify, and nurture exceptional abilities of students through a continuum of services K4-12. Through an enriched and/or accelerated curriculum, the program offers gifted and talented students opportunities to interact with like-minded intellectual peers while still actively participating in the regular school program. Twice-exceptional students who require support through the Learning Center may also qualify to be part of the Gifted & Talented Program.
